Castle in the Sky is the second of Hayao Miyazaki’s many animated features, and the first produced by his now-famous powerhouse, Studio Ghibli. In the U.S., Ghibli’s films are distributed by Disney, an appropriate connection, given the many comparisons made in the press between Miyazaki and Walt Disney himself.
