About Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod

In the words of one of its listeners, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod is a thinking man’s podcast for the Disney fan. The semi-weekly show features reviews, news, analysis, trip reports, rankings, and countdowns (a fan favorite).

The show is designed to engage Disney fans in a way that respects them for who they are — and the legacy of Disney magic for what it is — with substantive, analytical discussion about the ins and outs of Disney-dom. From movies, music, and Broadway to the theme parks coast to coast and around the world, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod is dedicated to all things Disney. Aaron Wallace, film critic and Disney enthusiast, is your host.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod premiered in 2005 at a time when there were only a small handful of podcasts dedicated to Disney discussion. Following an interview with The MousePod on behalf of UltimateDisney.com earlier that year, Aaron Wallace began making regular MousePod appearances to discuss Disney DVDs in each episode. From those appearances grew Aaron’s own Disney discussion podcast, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod. In 2006, the show joined the Disney Podcast Network. Learn more about Disney Podcasts here.

About Aaron Wallace

Aaron Wallace is a film, television, and music critic and media correspondent who has written hundreds of reviews, celebrity interviews, and articles for two of the Internet’s most popular and respected media outlets, DVDizzy.com and UltimateDisney.com. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Communication Studies and English, with a concentration in media studies, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University.
